"... takes it time to open (in fact, I afforded it an hour in my glass before commencing my note). Black fruit, leather, damp undergrowth/moss, touches of morels develop in the glass, distinctly different from the Charmes-Chambertin. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit mixed with orange rind and tangy marmalde. This feels very harmonious and cohesive, gentle grip with a wonderful sapid finish.
