A Taste of Cabernets from California and Beyond Please join us on Wednesday, March 12th, as we embark on an exploration of eight distinct Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines, each with its own unique story to tell. Our focus will be on the bold and complex expressions of California, with a delightful detour to Bordeaux and Italy, adding a touch of international flair. We are also thrilled to be hosting our second tasting, in our food and wine series, for 2025. We will be featuring BBQ ribs from Baby Blue BBQ, our local favorite. Let’s be honest very few pairing sound better than 2021 PlumpJack and some epic baby back ribs. Cabernet Sauvignon, one of the world’s most beloved and sought-after varieties, takes center stage in this tasting. We’ll examine wines across a range of price points, regions, and countries, allowing you to experience the nuances that make each expression remarkable in its own right. From the sun-drenched vineyards of California to the storied terroirs of Bordeaux and Italy, these extraordinary wines promise to be a journey of discovery for both seasoned aficionados and casual enthusiasts alike.
