"There's a slight green edge to the nose of the 2020 Sauvignon Blanc—something along the lines of chili pepper, mint and lime zest—plus hints of tropical fruit and pink grapefruit. Concentrated and flavorful, this medium-bodied effort is gently silky in texture, with terrific length on the mouthwatering, citrusy finish. Probably the best vintage of this wine I've tasted since I began reviewing New Zealand wines in 2000."

"Made from 100% certified organic Sauvignon Blanc grapes.  65% of this vintage was fermented in neutral French oak to add complexity and weight. Marlborough offers such incredible fruit flavour, this oak fermentation helps to just ease some these forward characters. The wine still delivers the quintessential characteristics of a Marlborough to meet expectations but as a smoother wine, it’s incredibly food friendly. 

Matches: Hot, salted fries. Whitebait fritter with lots of butter and white bread. Mashed potato with garlic butter."
