They explore natural winemaking in a beautiful and clean way. If you have ever wanted to try Orange Wine for the first time, this is a great place to start. It pleases the palette of experienced Orange Wine drinkers, while giving new drinkers a great introduction. Yummy spring fruit flavors, while providing a round, DRY finish. Absolutely delicious! 'Wild Series' Orange Wine Winemaker Notes: "At first sight, you‘ll note the amber haze in the bottle with a beautifully cloudy essence. The aromas of this wine resemble a bouquet of wildflowers, with a sparkle of apricot, honeysuckle, and elements of yuzu citrus. Once you get a taste, you’re in heaven... orange blossom, guava, and white pepper on the palate, with a crisp, DRY mouthfeel." Winery Notes: "Our 'Wild Series' wines are fermented using wild, naturally occuring yeasts. The Pinot Noir grapes are sustainably farmed and grown on Pali Vine- yard in the Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County, while the Gewurztraminer comes from Danny's Vineyard in Monterey which is sustainably farmed by the Franscioni Brothers in honor of their late father. The grapes harvested for this orange wine are initially fermented with skin-contact with adds texture and flavor to the resulting wine. This wine is fermented using wild, naturally occurring yeasts and without the use of conventional winemaking tools and additives throughout its elevage. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is aged using 75% neutral oak and 25% stainless steel for 90 days. This wine is unfined and unfiltered and will naturally develop sediment.
