This classically styled Napa Cabernet is big but balanced, offering savory black olive and bay leaf aromas that lead to potent, tasty black currant, mint and blueberry flavors. Silky, bracing tannins support the complex flavors, lending elegance and age-worthiness.
Vinous: 92 Points
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful, old-school wine. Dark cherry, plum, scorched earth, game, licorice, and tar give 2018 plenty of complexity. Big, potent tannins lend quite a bit of muscle, but there is more than enough fruit and overall balance to support many years in the cellar. Dark red fruit, mint, spice, and licorice linger. This is very nicely done. Drink 2025-2038.
