Domaine Cruchandeau Description
VINEYARDS & VITICULTURE: Les Ranches means “spiky thorny bushes” in old French. Located at the northern end of the Côtes de Nuits, below the 1er Cru La Micaude, and planted in 1974.
SOILS: Chalk and clay
HARVEST & VINIFICATION: 30% whole cluster. Maceration at a low temperature for the first ten days. Fermented in vats for 5 to 6 weeks with no pigeage. Aged for 12 months with fine lees in oak casks, 10% new.
FOOD PAIRING: Duck, Goose and Game Birds.
