Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from 8 separate lieux-dits). Pretty, cool and airy aromas include those of essence of pear and apple that are trimmed in hints of petrol and wood. There is excellent intensity to the beautifully delineated middleweight flavors that are shaped by bright acidity on the balanced and lingering finale. This could use a few years of keeping to add depth and overall, this is a lovely Chassagne villages. Drink: 2027+.

About 10 parcels – ‘And that might grow if we re-graft a couple of red parcels.’ All sited between the domaine and the village of Chassagne.) A broader nose – more aromatic power here. There’s more depth and scale to this wine – still juicily mineral but with a little extra cushion to the texture. Simply excellent villages.
