Domaine Vincey Description
Winemakers for eight generations, the Vincey family are experts at cultivating and crafting wine. This Chardonnay is also known as a "Grower": a designation reserved for more terroir-focused wines sourced from a single vineyard. This offering fits that description, grown from the chalky clay soils of Oger and fermented with indigenous yeast before aging in used oak casks for 36 months.
From the chalky clay soils of Oger, this 100% Chardonnay wine is focused and mineral. The wine ferments and ages in used oak casks, and goes through partial malolactic fermentation. After 36 months on the lees it is hand disgorged, with dosage of 1g/L.
