All of the wines in the lineup from Dominio de Las Abejas are best summed up by a single word “delicious” as their balance of fruit, tannin, texture, and persistence all seems to perfectly tweak the pleasure dial to 11.
Oh the luscious loveliness of a rose of Nebbiolo! A rarity to be sure but well worth the hunt, this wine will pair with virtually anything but good luck finding some left in the bottle by the time dinner is ready. Light as a ballerina on its feet but broad and demanding of your attention as a tempest on your palate, this shows just how profound a rosé can be.
Alongside the quality seen throughout the 2023 harvest for Dominio de las Abejas as a whole, this rosé is a stunning achievement. With a higher degree of expression on all fronts, better balance, lighter mouthfeel and a longer finish, the only thing we could hope for is that they made more! With just 30 cases allocated to the US in this vintage, the pickings are slim, but we are happy to be receiving a healthy portion of that!
