The Sancerre Blanc Clos la Néore comes from a one-hectare plot of the famous Mont Damnés vineyard in Chavignol, on steep slopes with great exposure to the sun. The vines are pruned severely to limit yields and maximize quality. Harvests tend to begin after those of neighboring estates have finished. The wines are made using very traditional methods in old neutral oak barrels , with a single racking, and are bottled without fining or filtration.
