The vineyards represented in this bottling are a stellar depiction of quality farming, mature vines, and the distinct terroir of cool climates that are graced with the soils, fog, and ocean influence that bring Pinot Noir to life. Roughly 40% of the grapes used in this bottling are estate grown and farmed.
The 2022 vintage was a study in contrasts. After a near perfect growing season, albeit a small one, the Labor Day heat spike required a real scramble to pick all at once. What came was a riot of bright, fresh, and beautiful fruit. These wines were a joy to make, and we find them perfectly balanced for the dinner table.
