G. B. Burlotto Description
Marina, with her husband Giuseppe Alessandria, and their children Fabio and Cristina, represent the fourth and fifth generations at the helm of G.B. Burlotto. They continue today to produce the classic wines of the Alba Langa in the wake of a tradition.
The hidden face of the great Langa grape, overshadowed by the overwhelming force of the classics, born already armed for a renunciation of youth in the name of triumphant self assurance. Here is, instead, the youth of Nebbiolo, unexpected, brilliant and memorable: it does not have the weight of the great wines, but it brings as a gift its precious, intimate clarity.

The 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo is an absolute joy. Rose petal, cinnamon, crushed flowers, mint and kirsch are all beautifully lifted. Lively acids and veins of tannin lend shape as well as a palpable saline-infused energy. The 2022 is pure pleasure.
