Wine Enthusiast: 96 Points
The nose is initially shy but later reveals violet, black-skinned berries, menthol and pipe tobacco. Showing both concentration and restraint, the enveloping palate features raspberry jam, marinated cherry and dark spice. Youthfully assertive but velvety tannins provide firm support. You'll also notice the warmth of alcohol on the close, but thanks to the succulent fruit, it's well integrated. Drink 2026–2036.
