Beautiful deep-purple colour. On the nose, this wine reveals the freshness of the vintage and opens up deliciously with seductive notes of small red fruit. The beautiful characteristic of freshness of 2021 continues on the palate, reinforced by a great acidity, in perfect balance with the beautiful aromas of black pepper and liquorice. A wine full of finesse, fresh and elegant. A partnership between three winegrowers from the Rhône Valley – NicolasJaboulet, Guillaume Sorrel and Alexandre Caso – Maison les Alexandrinsproduces northern wines in a style at once contemporary and timeless, always from exceptional vineyards unearthed by Alexandre Caso, a specialist in theterroirs of the northern Rhône Valley. Classics with a twist, these wines and how they are aged and blended are guided by the quest for perfect harmony from a very young age. Part of our blend comes from the village of Beaumont Monteux which produces very generous, precise wines. This is rounded out with wine from a locality called Les Pends, near Mercurol, for depth and acidity. Syrah 100%
