Matthiasson Description
Subtle fruits, salty minerality, and refreshing acidity. This year, the blend is Grenache, Mourvèdre, Counoise (a little-known grape from France’s Rhône Valley) and Barbera. The Grenache is for texture, the Mourvèdre for minerality, the Counoise for fruitiness, and the Barbera for brightness.
Blend: 40% Grenache, 32% Barbera, 15% Mourvèdre, 13% Counoise

Light-bodied with delicate flavors and quite low alcohol. Crisp acidity and subtle watermelon and raspberry flavors, with green-apple acidity and a featherweight texture. Whole clusters of grenache, mourvedre, counoise and barbera are pressed as in Champagne.
