Mendes & Symington Description
Anselmo Mendes' Contacto Alvarinho is made from 100% Alvarinho grown in vineyards along the Minho river, at low altitudes, with a high content of pebbles in the soil. All grapes are destemmed and given a short skin maceration, followed by a slow fermentation at low temperatures. The wine exhibits clean tropical and citrus fruit flavors with a stony mineral finish. It is full-bodied with great structure and balance. Enjoy with squid, octopus or tuna. 13% ABV
