Poderi Sanguineto Description
Floods of wildflower, sweet lilac and cedar, saddle and suede, peony, herbal notes. Palate is playful with loads of verve, cherry and Tuscan countryside. Poderi Sanguineto I e II is a special estate focused on Nobile di Montepulciano led by Dora Forsoni, the youngest of founder Federico Forsoni's 9 children, who lovingly still works the vines by hand. Farming is organic, winemaking is spontaneous with native yeasts in concrete tanks and then aged in French and Slovenian oak. 100% Prugnolo Gentile, the local clone of Sangiovese, this bottling is a new addition to Sanguineto's wines.
