Domaine Frederic Esmonin Description
FRED by Frederic Mabileau is a joyful and fresh 100% Cabernet Franc which is made via carbon maceration. An infusion of fruit delivering the essence of Cabernet Franc genuine flavors. Like a basket of summer strawberries, raspberry and sour cherry. Tannins are extremely discrete leaving the fruit and floral notes of violet leading the way. Naturally and simply delicious!
This is the maiden vintage made as a tribute to Frederic who sadly passed away in August 2020. It is a thirst quenching red with sappy red fruit, raspberry and youthful feel – just like Frederic.
