Prunotto’s Barbaresco is produced from vineyards in Treiso and Neive in the Barbaresco area, it’s the elegant expression of Nebbiolo. An aristocratic wine yet accessible and pleasant. It is aged in large oak barrels of varying capacities to enhance balance and softness on the palate.
Tasting Notes:
Barbaresco 2020 is an intense garnet red color. The nose is fragrant with well-defined aromas accented by hints of red fruit and spices. The palate has character, velvety tannins and is exceptionally pleasant to drink. It closes with a long finish.

The 2020 Barbaresco is gorgeous. Bright, aromatic and light on its feet, the 2020 is everything Barbaresco should be. Crushed rose petal, sweet red berry fruit, mint, white pepper and spice all grace this wonderfully expressive, open-knit Barbaresco from Prunotto.

Aromas of wild raspberries with floral undertones lift from the glass of this classic Barbaresco followed by present but subtle earthy tones. The juicy palate is loaded with tart red fruits balanced by medicinal herbs and sweet spices. Supple tannins are lifted on the finish by the vibrant acidity. Drink now–2035.
