Wine Spectator: 90 Points
Centered on vibrant acidity and with viscosity midpalate, this white reveals peach, apple, lemon and briny mineral flavors. A balanced version, with a hint of apple skin on the finish. Drink now.
Wine Advocate: 89-91 Points
Exhibiting aromas of sweet stone and orchard fruit mingled with lemon oil and clay liquor, Dauvissat's 2022 Petit Chablis is medium-bodied, ample and fleshy, with lively acids and a mouthwateringly mineral finish.
Burghound: 88-90 Points
Note: from a .40 ha holding A ripe yet agreeably fresh nose combines notes of both white and yellow orchard fruit and those of citrus confit and quinine. The rich and very generous medium weight flavors possess a beguiling texture while coating the palate on the nicely dry and sneaky long finish. This could easily be enjoyed young though it appears to have the stuffing to repay short to perhaps mid-term keeping.
Vinous
The 2022 Petit Chablis, matured for 6 and 8 months in oak barrels, has a pretty nose with yellow fruit and pressed white flowers. The palate is slightly candied on the entry, with hints of apricot coming through towards the finish. This will surely be difficult to resist once in bottle.
