The idea of producing Arso, a pure Cabernet Franc, on an estate so far south in Italy, stems from the desire to amaze and challenge prejudices and limits. Thanks to twenty-five years of work on Aglianico, Fiano, Chardonnay and Cabernet, we have always been aware of the inestimable potential of Tenuta Bocca di Lupo. This terroir of choice for Cabernet Franc, characterized by long seasons, excellent temperature ranges and calcareous-tuffaceous soils, gives the wine a perfect balance between the power and refinement of this fascinating variety. Arso is a wine that escapes classification because it is the result of the uniqueness of this estate."
